UU Identity: A Virtual Summer “Boot Camp”

Rev. Ritchie will be offering an exciting new virtual learning opportunity this summer. “UU Identity: A Virtual Summer Boot Camp” will meet for an hour and a half virtually twice a month in June, July, and August (the exact day and time will be coordinated with the schedules of those registering for the class). This course is intended to be an in-depth treatment of topics intended to develop and enhance Unitarian Universalist identity. We’ll cover our history, our polity (how we organize authority), our theology, and explore the basis of our commitments to social action. Participants can expect to spend two to three hours between each class session watching some video presentations and doing some reading (all of which will be provided online). While this course is geared towards adults, young people interested in serious engagement are most welcome. To register, write minister@nuuc.org by Sunday, June 7, at 2:00PM. Classes will meet virtually using ZOOM video teleconferencing. Not used to zoom? No worries, we will provide assistance.
