Thank you, Thank YOU, THANK YOU!!!

It is always remarkably humbling to look back and see how many people contributed to “my” stewardship campaign. I am so appreciative of all of the time and effort each of the Visiting Stewards gave to this Fall’s campaign and I am sure that I could not have done this without each of you.

Also, I want to thank all the members of the congregation who graciously took part in the process and who have given both of their time and their money. It is always heartening to be reminded of how full our glass is and how much we are stewards of this congregation and of each other.

As we continue to embrace the abundance that is NUUC, I hope each of you can be proud of the part you have played and continue to play in our church. It has been an honor to serve you as Canvass/Stewardship chair over the past three years and to have been shown that we are truly a wealthy and energetic congregation. My goal three years ago was to imbue a culture of abundance; in fact what I have discovered is that the culture was already here before our eyes. I hope that I have helped us see it more clearly.

Peace,
Sarabeth Mahusky-Petras

Holiday Poinsettias

Each year it is our tradition to decorate the sanctuary for the holidays with poinsettias donated by the congregation.  If you would like to donate a poinsettia, just bring it in any Sunday between now and Christmas Eve. If you would like to dedicate your poinsettia to the memory of (or in honor of) someone special to you, please fill out a Dedication Form (available on the Greeter’s Desk and on the bulletin board). Your dedication will be annotated at the Christmas Eve service. (You are welcome to take your poinsettia home after the Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve service.)
