Rev-elations!

Recently, one of our families visited the Religious Education Committee with a MCj02806990000[1]fabulous idea.  Why not have periodic family worships and potluck, perhaps on a Friday evening?  The idea would be to gather for a simple and true potluck (by which we mean no anxiety is allowed regarding what you take, or what will show up).  And then, after dinner, we could move into some truly intergenerational worship—with adults and children of all ages truly participating equally and alike.  Perhaps different families could take turns offering together a glimpse of how they practice their faith in the context of their life at home.

Sold!

So please join us for our first Family Worship and Poluck, Friday, July 10.  We’ll gather promptly at 6PM, and promise to be done by 7:30PM.  Our theme will be “Celebrating Summer.”  For worship, the Aultman family will do sharing, I’ll led my favorite Bubble Communion, and we’ll do some sing-alongs.  I hope you can make it.

And whatever you do this summer, whatever your age, try blowing some bubbles.  It helps.  Really.

To Life!
