Cultivating Stillness in a World of Chaos

Attend 10:30 Sunday either in person (vaccinated and masked) or online (connection link below)

What do mindfulness practices, including meditation, have to offer us in this present moment of prolonged pandemic and crumbling social systems? In this sermon, Katie will share her journey with mindfulness and meditation. She will also offer several practical tools and tips for anyone seeking to establish or deepen their own mindfulness practice.

Preaching today is Katie Kuntz-Wineland (she/her), Katie is a queer, seminary-educated independent minister. She’s the founder of @thebelongingtable, a spiritual care practice for queers, mystics, and misfits. She also serves as the Marketing Coordinator at Bittersweet Farms, a nonprofit organization serving adults with autism. Katie’s ministry has its roots in the Methodist tradition, with formative influences in the Mennonite, Unitarian Universalist, and Anglican traditions. She and her wife, Beth, call Toledo, Ohio home and are seekers of ecological, racial, and economic justice in their diverse South Toledo neighborhood.

Susan Ritchie (she, her, hers) is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
