DESCRIPTION:Chili Cook Off — Sunday\, February 8\, 2026 Join us after wor
 ship in the Fellowship Hall for a cozy winter tradition: our annual Chili 
 Cook Off. Bring a pot of your favorite chili—crock pots or similar conta
 iners are especially helpful for keeping things warm—and add it to the t
 asting table. Please also bring a label for your chili\, with the name of 
 it\, whether it is meat or vegetarian\, and with any allergens indicated. 
 Each chili will have a donation container beside it. Cast your “vote” 
 for your favorite by placing a cash contribution in its jar (all donations
  go to the NUUC Operating Fund). We’ll award prizes to both the vegetari
 an chili and the meat chili that earn the most in donations. Not in the mo
 od to compete? Wonderful. Come enjoy a hearty lunch\, good company\, and t
 he simple joy of warm chili on a winter afternoon. In the end\, the conver
 sation and community make us all winners. No need to sign up\, just bring 
 your chili to the kitchen!
