DESCRIPTION:Dances of Universal Peace\, Sunday September 14 at noon. We’r
 e delighted to welcome Munira Elizabeth Reed to lead a session of Dances o
 f Universal Peace\, sponsored by the NUUC “Beyond Words” Covenant Grou
 p. These “spiritual practices in motion” draw on sacred phrases and po
 etry from diverse traditions\, offering a meditative blend of movement\, c
 hant\, and breath. No experience needed—each dance is taught and repeate
 d. Rev. Dr. Reed (ret.) served in mainstream ministry for 15 years and fou
 nded the Shalem Center for psychospiritual counseling. A longtime practiti
 oner of the Dances\, she’s engaged in peace work locally and abroad\, re
 cently traveling with the “Beyond Initiative” to Turkey\, Vietnam\, Me
 xico\, and Brazil. This fall\, she journeys to India and Malaysia\, while 
 also writing on first-century Middle Eastern goddesses.
