Eating on the Good Dishes

As the many holidays and religious celebrations of this part of the year descend upon us, I want to offer this little bit of advice: get out the good dishes. Please let’s not leave the china in the cupboard for fear of breaking it. Life is short and not always sweet. Celebrations are good. Family and friends are essential. The good dishes set the mood.

Retired UU minister the Rev. Alison Woehler offers the worship today. The Reverend Alison Wohler is the Minister Emerita of the Unitarian Universalist Society of Amherst, MA, where she spent 11 years.  She retired to the Columbus area to be closer to family and Chautauqua.  Currently she is a member of several UU congregations including our own and the treasurer of the UU Fellowship of Chautauqua.  She “preaches around,” and loves that she still gets to create worship. Alison lives with her partner, Milt Harris, and their two cats.
