Through shared sacred song and simple embodied practice, this service invites us to experience living into our shared faith with our whole selves. Our service leaders today are Debra Gray Boyd and Whitney Dawm Pyles.
Debra Gray Boyd has been a deeply engaged UU serving at the local, regional and national level for over two decades. She is currently working at a local Presbyterian Church as their Financial Administrator and is working towards her Spiritual Director Certification with the Spirituality Network. Whitney Dawn Pyles is a Certified Somatic Coach and Dance/Movement Facilitator who helps people explore presence, aliveness, and personal growth through body-oriented and movement-based experiences. She is a member of First Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbus, where she also offers somatic movement twice a month. Her work centers curiosity, compassion, and the belief that embodied awareness can strengthen both personal and communal well-being.
