Iggy Garcia Returns to Lead Drum Circle
The Beyond Words covenant group is delighted to welcome Iggy Garcia back on Sunday, Nov. 16, for another energizing drum circle from noon–1:30pm. Bring your own percussion instruments, or use those Iggy provides. The session concludes with a guided meditation. Children are welcome. Free event; goodwill donations for Iggy’s time and travel appreciated.
Iggy is a prolific drum circle leader, known for gatherings at local parks, festivals, and healing circles throughout central Ohio. Born in Lima, Peru, and raised in Columbus, he draws on both cultural traditions and his work as a shamanic practitioner and educator. “My greatest passion lies in fostering community through drumming, dance, song, and sacred ceremonies,” he says.
