What happens when good intentions become harmful obstacles? Last year’s Summer Student Minister, Noa Weatherwax, discusses how humans have a strong and often unavoidable tendency to get in our own and each other’s ways without even realizing it, and how backing up can help us move forward in good work.

Noa Weatherwax (she/they) is finishing her third year at Methodist Theological School in Ohio. They are pursuing chaplaincy endorsement from the Humanist Society and working on creating new forms of community ministry in downtown Columbus, Ohio, where she lives with her wife, Astrid, and their three cats.
