We introduce our monthly theme of deep listening by reflecting on how it has never been harder or more important to listen deeply—to each other, and to what Ralph Ellison called the “lower frequencies” of repressed voices.  And yet listening deeply breaths spirit into both individual lives and the commonwealth—renewing the soul of democracy.  This worship also includes a special musical interlude by Wade Jones.
