Rev. Richard Reese, preaching. As we all know, art is multi-faceted: painting, sketch, photography, sculpture, poetry, dance, fiber arts, calligraphy, metalwork and music, among many other forms. Richard encourages everyone attending the service to bring a piece of art, small or large. The art item can be something personally created or purchased.

Richard Reese served as a minister for thirty-five years with the American Baptist Churches USA. He ministered at the local church level in South Dakota and Utah and advanced to the Area Minister position in Michigan. During the last part of his career, he was employed by the Ministers and Missionary Benefit Board ABC USA working with churches in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.  During those fifteen years he counseled individuals in the areas of retirement, disability and death. Since 2001, his church membership has been within the UU family: Fountain Street Church Grand Rapids MI and Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Lansing MI.
