Today’s guest minister, Kevin Lowry, discovered and fell in love with Unitarian Universalism at North UU in 2003 when he was a student at Otterbein College. Now he serves as the Chaplain and Director of Covenant Student Ministries, a progressive collegiate spiritual community —grounded in the Christian Tradition — that serves the spiritual needs of the undergraduate, graduate, and professional students in University Circle neighborhood in Cleveland, Ohio. Previously Kevin served the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Wayne County (Wooster, OH) as their College and Youth Communities Coordinator and as their Volunteer Coordinator. In 2017 Kevin was a (Sophia Lyons) Fahs Fellow with the Fahs Collaborative at Meadville Lombard Theological School. Kevin is a graduated from the Methodist Theological School (Delaware, OH) with his Masters of Divinity with a Youth and Young Adult specialization. He lives in Wooster, Ohio with his wife: Alex and two kiddos: Estella (7) and Hawthorn (1), and their 2 backyard chickens: Vanilla and Sunshine.
