Our seventh principle speaks of “respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.” This week’s service will lead us to meditate on what it means to enter into this respectful stance. It involves recognizing that we are in relationship with our world, and that many of the relationships that sustain our lives are broken and need to be restored. Studying our histories, with the support of our faith tradition, allows us to locate ourselves in a living, moving, web that claims us as we are. Intern Minister Meredith Krueger preaches today.
