This Sunday we introduce stillness as our theme of the month.  What if the Christian season of advent is less about the anticipation of a miraculous baby, but about the gift of understanding that comes from traveling in the silence and the darkness with intention and patience: we are enough, exactly as we are.  In this context, napping takes on the shape of revolution, and waiting, the beauty of the liturgy.
